PENNSVILLE TWP. -- Emergency personnel responded to the area of Hook Road and South Broadway after a gas line was struck Tuesday by construction crews, authorities said.
Authorities responded to the site around 10 a.m. Police are still investigating the incident and further information was not available.

Residents of Pennsville have been on edge after prior gas line problems after an explosion caused a devastating fire to a law office in September.
The gas explosion last month was accidental after workers hit a main which caused gas to fill in the basement of a law office building.
The building has since been demolished.
