Volunteers are needed to begin replacement of footbridges damaged by floods
PITTSGROVE -- The Parvin State Park Appreciation Committee Inc. is announcing an approved National Trails Day special project to be completed on Saturday, June 4 beginning at 9 a.m. sharp.
We will meet at "2nd Landing" Natural Area Parking Lot, located at 869 Almond Road in Pittsgrove. Please park in the lot.
We have been approved to begin replacement of footbridges damaged by the floods of 2011, 2012 and the Derecho storm. This special project will require "many hands" to make this project as success on June 4.
The Parvin State Park Appreciation Committee has committed to working 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on this special project. We ask all volunteers to bring/wear work clothes, boots, insect repellent and your own refreshments for the day.
Gather your family and friends to spend a beneficial day of volunteer work and fellowship.
