A man allegedly stole brandy liquor and was later arrested for shoplifting, drug possession.
CARNEYS POINT TWP. -- A 48-year-old man was charged with shoplifting two bottles of brandy from a Salem County liquor store, police said.
James Moorehead, of Penns Grove, stole two bottles of brandy, valued at $25, fro Sassi's Liquor on May 23 at 8:26 p.m.
Carneys Point Police also found Moorehead in possession of marijuana and prescription pills out of the original container.
Moorehead was charged with shoplifting, possession of marijuana and possession of prescription medication not in original container.
After processing, Moorehead was released pending court.
