Join Millville for the 15th annual Soul of the Season event on Saturday evening, Dec. 12, on High Street, from Broad to Sassafras Streets.
Plus an afternoon pre-event -- "Sole of the Season" Santa Fun Run/Walk.
People can gather at Old Oar House Irish Pub at 3 p.m. or join in behind the American Legion Building on Buck Street. The Santa Run/Walk is only a mile on the River Walk beginning at 4 p.m. There will be "Fun" prizes in many categories. Afterwards, enjoy a buffet at Oar House."
From 6 to 9 p.m., the festivities begin with the horse and carriage rides. Line up before 5:30 p.m. to buy your tickets -- $5 adults and $1 for kids -- at High and Sassafras or in front of the Village on High at 501 N. High St.
Entertainment on the Plaza will be Nutcracker Ballet vignettes by Vineland Regional Dance Co. and musical performances by the Off Broad Street Players.
At the Village on High, Santa will be in residence to get your children's wish lists. St. Paul's Choir will be performing live. The Village will be ablaze with lights and shops open.
A free trolley runs the downtown from 6 to 9 p.m.
Shops and galleries will be open. Dining establishments will be open late.
