The Best of Salem County contest recognizes those businesses deemed the best by their customers.
PITTSGROVE TWP. -- Business owners from around Salem County sure had reason to celebrate.
The winners of the 2015 Best of Salem County contest were recognized Thursday night at the Centerton Country Club for being named the best by their customers.
The annual contest is sponsored by the Salem County Chamber of Commerce, the South Jersey Times and the Salem County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
The full list of winners includes more than 120 businesses.
Customers cast their ballots in support of their favorite businesses. The results were tallied and the winners announced.
The banquet at the Centerton Country Club was a chance for the businesses to again be in the spotlight.

Some 425 people packed the grand ballroom at the country club for the event.
State and county officials were on hand to congratulate the winners.
There was even a champagne toast honoring those businesses named the best for 2015.
Each business was recognized and received a special award that they can display.
