Events celebrate Hanukkah -- the "Festival of Lights."
VINELAND --Jewish Federation of Cumberland, Gloucester & Salem Counties is sponsoring a series of events to celebrate Hanukkah -- the "Festival of Lights." These events are:
Wheaton Pre-Hanukkah Menorah Lighting -- Sunday, Dec. 18, 11 a.m., Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center, 1501 Glasstown Road, Millville. Hot latkes, doughnuts, music, raffles, crafts, dreidel competition. Fun for the entire family. No charge. RSVP by Dec. 14.
Hanukkah ACT Luncheon & Bingo -- Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1 p.m., Beth Israel Congregation, 1015 E. Park Ave., Vineland. Menorah lighting, hot latkes, prizes, and lots of fun! Part of Jewish Federation's Adult, Culture & Trips (ACT) program. $8 for Federation members; $10 for non-members. RSVP by Dec. 14.
Hanukkah Live -- Light Up Landis Avenue -- Thursday, Dec. 29, 6 p.m., 600 block of Landis Avenue, Vineland (across from former Landis MarketPlace). The lighting of the largest menorah in South Jersey. Doughnuts, hot latkes, and hot cider will be served. Music and dancing. Fun for the entire family. No charge; RSVP by Dec. 14.
Havdalah Service & Menorah Lighting -- Saturday, Dec. 31, 6:30 p.m., historic Garton Road Shul, 612 Garton Road, near Deerfield Township. Hot latkes and doughnuts will be served. No charge. RSVP by Dec. 14.
Hanukkah greeting cards and gift wrap -- Capture the spirit of Hanukkah with cards and holiday wrapping paper to go with that perfect gift for someone special. Cards are $5 per box; gift wrap is $5 per roll. Limited amounts available. Call the Federation at 856-696-4445.
