Nancy Webster to present Salem County Historical Society program

The program, which is open to the public, will be held at Friends Village in Woodstown at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 11.

SALEM -- The Salem County Historical Society has announced that Nancy Webster will be the speaker for the society's December Quarterly Meeting Dec. 11.

Webster is Curator of the Friends' Historical Association based at Haverford College and Honorary Curator of the Friends Historical Library at Swarthmore College.

She has researched and recorded many historical sites for both the Pennsylvania and National Historic Registers. Webster's presentation will discuss Quaker religious policy during the American Revolution.

The meeting and program will be held on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at Friends Village, Friends Drive, in Woodstown. The program begins at 1:30 p.m.

The public is invited to enjoy this free educational program.
