Elmer Police responded to a motor vehicle crash Monday night.
ELMER -- A 25-year-old man was charged with driving while intoxicated after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a house's front porch in Elmer, authorities said.
Elmer Police and emergency personnel responded at roughly 9:50 p.m. Monday to a house off U.S. Route 40 for reports of a motor vehicle crash, according to authorities.
Rafino Perez was traveling eastbound when he crossed over into the westbound lane after losing control of his vehicle, police said.
Perez then struck a utility pole before smashing into the front porch of a house, according to police.
No injuries were reported. Police did not provide where Perez was from or the cost of damage to the porch.
Perez was charged with a DWI and driving without a license.
He was processed and released pending court action.
