Vineland is having a shredding event on Aug. 6 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Public Works Yard on Walnut Road.

"The Cumberland County Fair Association will be hosting a Bag and Basket Bingo Fundraiser on Saturday Aug. 13, 2016 at the Elks Lodge in Millville, NJ 08332. Doors open at 4:30, bingo starts at 6:00. The bingo will feature items from Coach, Vera Bradley, Dooney & Bourke, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Thirty-One and Longaberger. There will be door prizes, raffles and a Chinese auction. More purses than baskets!

"Sandy Vastardis, 5 Cedar St. in Millville was chosen as the Grand Prize Winner in the 2016 Gardenscape Contest recently held by the Millville Recreation Department. All judges agreed, Ms. Vastardis received the highest amount of points for creativity, neatness and the "wow" factor.
"All Millville Homes were eligible to participate, as long as the garden entered was visible from the street. The winners will receive their awards at the Millville City Commission meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 6:30 p.m.
