A graduation ceremony was held for kindergarten students stepping up to first grade.
CARNEYS POINT TWP. -- The future class of 2028 took a step toward their future as they celebrated their kindergarten graduation earlier this month.
Lafayette-Pershing School held their graduation ceremony Thursday, June 9, congratulating young pupils as they set off for first grade.
The ceremony was held at Penns Grove High School, located off Harding Highway.
Kindergartners stood in front of their friends, family and teachers, flipped their tassels and reveled in their milestone.
A message was delivered by Marcus Dowe, a physical education/health teacher at Penns Grove Middle School, reminding the young students to work hard and follow their dreams.
Look out Field Street School, here come your new first-graders.
