Jordan Beals and Treshon Evans honored for their accomplishments

Jordan Beals and Treshon Evans have been named Pennsville Memorial High School's April students of the month.

Jordan Beals was inducted to the National Honor Society as a junior at PMHS.  Jordan is a Golden Eagle. She is the treasurer of many clubs; including the Chinese club, Executive Committee, and the Renaissance Club. Jordan also belongs to Student Council. She is a student athlete participating in soccer, basketball, softball and spring track. Last summer, Jordan volunteered at A.I. duPont Hospital for Children. She plans to attend South Carolina University to study biological science in the honors college. Jordan is the daughter of Stacie and Mel Beals.

Treshon Evans has been a student in the Graphic Design and Multi Media Technology Academy for four years. Treshon was a varsity soccer player for PMHS for four and varsity tennis for three years. He was captain of the tennis team his senior year. Treshon participated in the drama club and school play. He earned a lead role this year. Treshon also belongs to the GLI and GSA clubs. He is a peer mentor working with incoming freshman. Outside of school, Treshon is very active with his youth group. He also works 10-15 hours a week at Cracker Barrel. Treshon is in our Jump Start program and will earn 26 college credits before graduating high school. Treshon plans to finish his associate's degree at Salem Community College and then transfer to Wilmington University to study media arts.  Treshon is the son of Kim Gill and Zeke Evans.
