Two Woodstown students named Rotary Club Youths

Rebecca Johnson, May Rotary Youth and Kristen Paolizzi, June Rotary Youth

WOODSTOWN -- Woodstown High School senior Rebecca Johnson has been named Woodstown Rotary Club Youth of the Month for May and Kristen Paolizzi has been named Woodstown Rotary Club Youth of the Month for June.

Rebecca Johnson is a member of various high school clubs, including the Environmental Club, Key Club, FFA (Future Farmers of America), Students in Action, and the National Honor Society. Rebecca had been a member of the field hockey, swim, lacrosse, and tennis teams as well as the Photography Club. She was also involved with the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.

Rebecca volunteers for several organizations, including the Salem County Humane

Society, Elmer Hospital on the nursing floors, and the Special Olympics summer games. She has participated in both roadside cleanups as well as beach cleanups, and participated in Relay for Life.

The daughter of Lisa and Stephen Johnson, Rebecca plans to attend Temple University where she will major in psychology and minor in human resources.

Kristen Paolizzi is a member of the High School Students in Action Club and the National Honor Society. She serves as the yearbook editor and is the captain of the fall cheerleading team. In prior years, in addition to her involvement with Students in Action and cheerleading, Kristen was a member of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), the Athletic Training Club, and the Renaissance Club, and was a member of the lacrosse team.

Kristen volunteers for various children's programs, including the Ronald McDonald House and the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. She also works with special needs students who attend the Mary S. Shoemaker School summer program.

The daughter of Lisa and Dean Paolizzi, Kristen plans to attend Wagner College for their five-year physician assistant program.
