High school seniors earn associate degrees before graduating high school
On May 18, three seniors earned associate degrees from Salem Community College, one month before graduating from Salem County Vocational Technical Schools (SCVTS).
Kelsey Stockton is enrolled in the Academy of Agricultural Sciences and earned an associate in arts degree in liberal arts. Kelsey also earned a spot on the New Jersey All-State Academic Team with 36 other community college students. She will transfer to Rutgers - New Brunswick.
Edgar Trejo and Donovan Velez completed their degrees while enrolled in the Academy of Medical Sciences. Each graduated with an associate in science degree in biology/chemistry. Trejo will enroll in SCC's pharmacy technician program and Velez will attend the U.S. Military Academy - West Point.
Eighteen other SCVTS Academy seniors have graduated from SCC since 2001, most recently in 2015.
