Authorities in Salem County are investigating a house burglary.
CARNEYS POINT TWP. -- Authorities in Carneys Point are investigating a residential burglary that occurred early Tuesday morning.
Carneys Point Police responded at 3:48 a.m. to the home, located off North Virginia Avenue, after the resident woke up to his phone missing.
The suspect reportedly entered the house while the resident was sleeping and took the phone but left the wallet.

When the resident woke up, it was observed that the phone was missing but the wallet had been relocated in the house.
The front door of the house was not locked, according to police.
Police continue to investigate the theft.
