The lake and picnic areas will be open for everyone's enjoyment
PITTSGROVE -- The Parvin State Park Appreciation Committee Inc. will host a "Ribbon cutting" on Saturday, May 28 beginning 10 a.m. sharp at Parvin Lake.
Gather your friends, family and neighbors to join us at Parvin State Park beach complex for the official ribbon cutting ceremonies to open the new 2016 season on Parvin's Lake.
Come for the ceremony and plan to stay the day at Parvin State Park. A special "water rescue" demonstration is planned by the Parvin guards between 10 a.m. and noon. The lake and picnic areas will be open for your enjoyment.
Visit historic displays of the evolution of Parvin State Park from its conception to today with many exciting events in between located along the beach complex breezeway.
This is the beginning of a series of events the park will be sponsoring throughout the summer as we lead up to the celebration of 85 years of Parvin State Park serving the community and surrounding areas in numerous capacities.
Spend the beginning of your Memorial Day weekend at the park for fun, enjoyment and historical education.
