Pennsville names February 2016 Students of the Month

Students Joseph McNatt and Aimee Ridgway honored for their accomplishments

Joseph McNatt and Aimee Ridgway have been named Pennsville Memorial High School's February students of the month.

Joe is a member of the National Honor Society and president of the Spanish National Honor Society. Joe captained the DuPont Academic team the past two years; they were honored as the Salem County champions for 2015-16 and will compete in the state championships at Princeton University this month. Joe is the founder and president of the scholastic Video Game Club. This coming fall, Joe will pursue a degree in computer engineering at the University of Pittsburgh.  He is the son of Deidra McNatt of Pennsville.

Aimee Ridgway has been involved in Pennsville sports from freshman through senior years. Freshman and sophomore years, she played varsity soccer. Junior year, Aimee started on the varsity tennis team playing first doubles and winning first place in the Tri-County Conference and again in the South Jersey Group 1 Championships.  Aimee has also played varsity softball throughout her four years at Pennsville and will be captain of the team this year as a senior. Beside sports and being an honor student, Aimee also participates in the Foods Club, Mock Trial, Executive Committee for the Class of 2016, Yearbook, and Interact. For three years, Aimee played clarinet in our Concert and Jazz Bands. Aimee is planning a career in nutrition and has been accepted to all of the schools she's applied.  She is the daughter of Thomas and Danette Ridgway of Pennsville.
