Police in Salem County conducted a narcotics investigation.
PENNSVILLE TWP. -- A Salem County man was arrested for planning to sell marijuana in Pennsville Township, authorities reported.
Gregory W. Thompson Jr., 21, of Pennsville, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute following a narcotics investigation.
Pennsville Police stopped Thompson on Dunlap Avenue and discovered packaged marijuana ready for distribution, authorities said.
Thompson was processed and held at the Salem County Correctional Facility in Cannington, in default of $25,000 bail.
