The Scoop offers tidbits of news from around Salem County and a few surprises, too.

Won't be long before Salem County's Old Boys will be gathering for their annual reunion. The event will be held at the Salem County Career and Technical High School (the vo-tech) beginning at 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 24. The Old Boys Committee asks attendees to arrive by 6:30 p.m. to sign in and receive their souvenir dollar piece. The oldest Old Boy will receive the ceremonial cane.  This will mark the 82nd year for the free event. The only qualification to take part is that you are a man age 70 or older and live in Salem County.
