The weather forecast calls for showers in the afternoon into Saturday evening.
PENNSVILLE TWP. - The threat of foul weather has caused the postponement of the annual Septemberfest celebration until Sunday.
The event was planned for Saturday, but the threatening weather forecast forced the delay.
Jeff Smith, 2015 Septemberfest Committee chairman, confirmed the postponement.
The news was also posted on the Septemberfest Committee's Facebook page late Friday.
The National Weather Service forecast for Saturday calls for showers and thunderstorms - an 80 percent chance of rain - in the afternoon into the evening.
